Police: Health Aide Stole $100K Worth Of Rings From Fairfield County Woman

A local home health care aide was arrested for ripping off several rings worth more than $100,000 from a woman in her care, according to Stratford Police.

Nicole Passander, 32, of Ansonia was arrested Friday for felony larceny following an investigation into the thefts, said Capt. Frank Eannotti. 

According to Eannotti, the thefts were reported in March and a warrant was issued after the investigation led police to Passander.

Passander posted a $30,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on April 13.
